Xperia 1 may not offer the expected performance in next-generation games?

Sony Xpreia Screen performance www.ipagenews.com
Xperia 1 introduced by Sony in MWC 2019 is a remarkable phone with features. The most talked about aspect of the Sony Xperia 1 is its high-resolution display. The Xperia 1's 6.5-inch OLED display offers 1644 x 3840 pixels, which means 4K resolution. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 technology and offering a pixel density of 643 ppi, this display supports the entire DCI-P3 color gamut.

The Xperia 1 screen  in 4K resolution

One of the first things people wondered about after a high-resolution screen was presented was whether the screen resolution could be reduced. Because there is a serious loss of performance in 4K resolution games. Although the XZ2 Premium has a 4K screen, the interface and applications were running in Full HD resolution. However, according to Sony's official forums, all applications in Xperia 1 will run at 4K resolution.
Of course, applications without 4K support will continue to work in Full HD resolution. However, it won't be possible to play at a low resolution when the application or game gets support for high resolution. Therefore, Xperia 1 may not offer the expected performance in next-generation games.
